Ball Wins Provincial Singles Title
7 ML5 Bowlers off to C5PBA Nationals
Major League 5 Pin 2004 All-Star Brad Ball continued his winning ways at the 2005 M5PBA Open Provincial Championships in Thompson, Manitoba. Ball, who captured the Guild Insurance Cup for 2004 along with teammates Bill Boorman and Ted Popadynetz, defeated Kevin Fisher of Gilbert Plains in the stepladder final. Ball qualified first overall, with a 2562 qualifying score on the challenging Thompson Lanes.
Meanwhile, Major League 5 Pin athletes Mike Clarke, Ian Sylvester, Ron Scherr, Ken Wilson, 2004 All-Star Randy McFarlane, and Coach Bob Wilson, along with Fisher, teamed up to capture the Mens Team title in Thompson. They will accompany Ball, Womens Singles champ Holly Chaikowski, and Womens and Mixed teams from Winnipeg to the C5PBA Open National Championships in Edmonton, Alberta, June 1 - 4, 2005.
